the faces all blend together;
the names, i don’t bother to remember.
you sit there at the edge of my bed.
you look at me like i’m the answer to all your questions.
you want to know why.
you tell me i’m a nice girl, that i’m matured, that i’m different, i’m intelligent.
you say you’ll wait, no matter how long it takes.
can you tell, that i’m not even listening?
it’s the same old dialog, the same old bullshit every other guy has churned out before.
i have lost faith. my eyes travel over your sculpted body;
the perfect features of your face.
you ask me what i want.
i want you to shut up, and just kiss me already. shut up. stop wasting time.



even as our lips meet, even as your hands travel all over me: i feel your burning curiosity.
you know nothing about me — i am but merely a puzzle.
